GoJoy offers ideas by category, date and area, with transport, parking and source links. Browse in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese or English, and tell the guide your group size, budget and preferences to narrow down the options.
How sources are used
Events draw on LCSD and HK Ticketing; films and screenings on HKMovie6 or Broadway Circuit; sights on official district guides; and food and outings on original articles including Openholidays. Dog-friendly places are checked against venue rules, and dog-friendly restaurant branches use the FEHD permitted list. OpenRice and other platform links support further searching; their user reviews and photographs are not automatically imported.
Event listings are checked approximately hourly. Screenings, transport and parking update separately and show relevant timestamps. Listings link to their sources for verification. Ended events keep their original page for reference and are marked as ended.
Editorial guides and community reviews
Editorial guides summarise verifiable public sources without claiming a first-hand visit. Community reviews are submitted by signed-in members and separately display the author name, dates and optional rating, preserving the author’s original language.
First-hand experiences and both positive and negative opinions are welcome. Reviews are checked before publication for spam, private information, threats and personal attacks. Uncertain cases go to staff for review. Sign-in options are available only after the relevant provider is configured.
Images and practical limitations
Images prioritise event posters and relevant venue or event photographs, with source and licence links where available. Sharing cards may be made from relevant public photographs. Screenings, prices, hours and offers can change, so confirm with the organiser, cinema or business before booking or visiting. GoJoy does not sell tickets or guarantee availability or current opening status.
