Korea Delivery Apps: Ordering Late-Night Eats Without a Korean Number
Travelling in Korea and want to try the local delivery culture, but worried a lack of a Korean phone number or local credit card will stop you? A travel site has compared five popular Korean delivery apps: Baemin, Yogiyo, Shuttle Delivery, Foodpanda and WOWPASS K-Delivery.
The article says Baemin and Yogiyo cover the whole country but are mainly Korean-language and do not support overseas credit cards or ordering without a Korean number. Shuttle Delivery, Foodpanda and WOWPASS K-Delivery target foreign visitors with Chinese, English and Korean interfaces. WOWPASS K-Delivery is listed as hotel delivery in Seoul only, daily from 16:00 to 22:00.
These are the site's compiled details, so arrangements and offers may change. Best to double-check before you go.
Editor’s noteIf you want to order delivery without getting stuck, this comparison is a handy starting point for each app's language, payment and phone-number requirements. Service details may change, so verify before your trip.
