Stay Away from Digestive Cancers (Western Medicine) Talk at City Hall on 10 October

The Hong Kong Public Libraries “Listen to Your Body” Series continues with a Western medicine session on staying away from digestive cancers, held at City Hall Public Library's extension activities room on 10 October 2026 (Saturday), 2:30pm–4:00pm, with Dr So Yung Pak speaking in Cantonese.

The talk covers four common digestive cancers — colorectal, stomach, pancreatic and liver cancer — looking at causes and prevention strategies, plus four warning symptoms: abdominal pain, stomach pain, blood in stool and unexplained weight loss, and how to respond and seek medical help if symptoms persist.

Admission is free. From 9am on 26 September 2026 you can reserve a seat by calling 2921 2555 or register in person at City Hall Public Library.

Editor’s noteA free health talk with a practical topic — if you want to understand digestive cancer causes and warning signs, remember to reserve a seat from 26 September.
