Old Yau Tsim Mong Photos on Show at Hong Kong Central Library in October
A mini photo exhibition, “Memories of Yau Tsim Mong”, is on at the Map Library on the 5th floor of the Hong Kong Central Library, using photographs to look back at the district's older face. According to Leisure and Cultural Services Department information, it runs from 1 April to 30 November 2026, open during library hours, with enquiries on 2921 0351.
The 1–31 October window falls inside that run, so it is still viewable this month. No admission fee is listed, which suggests a free library promotion, but it is worth confirming arrangements by phone or on the library website before you go.
If you like old Hong Kong images, you could also look around other floors; for the exhibition itself, allow around half an hour to study the photos and pick out familiar streets.
Editor’s noteIt is still within the run this month, so it is an easy add-on to a library visit; fees and details are not officially listed, so confirm before you go.
