Putonghua Storytelling for Children at South Kwai Chung Library

South Kwai Chung Public Library is running Putonghua storytelling sessions for children in October, on 3, 17, 24 and 31 (Saturdays), 2:00pm–3:00pm. Organised by Hong Kong Public Libraries, the sessions are told in Putonghua for children aged 4–9. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

According to the listing, one session features the story 《最長的暴風雨》, using it to get children thinking about the meaning of "home", plus an origami activity with coloured paper. The library provides activity materials and cleaning supplies, including paper towels and wet wipes; participants may bring their own materials and protective items if needed.

Pick one of the four dates if you want a story session for your child, and call 24296338 before you go.

Editor’s noteAll four sessions are on Saturday afternoons and suit children aged 4–9; places are limited and first-come, first-served, so call 24296338 before heading over.
