STEAM in Everyday Life - Drainage Services Department Innovative Technology and Robotics Exhibition

Drainage Services robot exhibition at Fanling Public Library, 15-31 October

A joint Hong Kong Public Libraries and Drainage Services Department exhibition, "STEAM in Everyday Life", runs at Fanling Public Library from 15 to 31 October 2026, during library opening hours.

It looks at robots the department has developed and applied in recent years to speed up inspection and desilting work and to respond to flooding caused by extreme weather, while supporting flood protection and occupational safety.

If you want to see how engineering and robotics connect with daily life, plan a visit to Fanling within these dates. It is worth checking the library's opening hours and on-site arrangements beforehand.

Editor’s noteOn in Fanling from mid to late October, good for families and engineering fans; entry follows library opening hours, so check before you go.

This guide draws on public sources and does not claim a first-hand visit. Reviews and arrangements may change.
