STEAM in Everyday Life - Drainage Services Department Innovative Technology and Robotics Exhibition

Robotics Exhibition by Drainage Services Department at Sheung Shui Library Until Oct 14

A joint exhibition by the Hong Kong Public Libraries and the Drainage Services Department, "STEAM in Everyday Life", is running at Sheung Shui Public Library from 1 to 14 October 2026, during library opening hours.

The display covers robots the department has developed and applied in recent years to speed up inspection and desilting work, and to respond to flooding caused by extreme weather, supporting both flood prevention and occupational safety.

For a half-day outing, you could view the exhibition and then spend time reading or borrowing books at the library. It is worth checking the day's opening hours and arrangements before you go.

Editor’s noteIf you are nearby, this free library exhibition on drainage robots is an easy stop; note it ends on 14 October, so check opening hours before heading over.
