Cantonese Storytelling for Children at Sha Tin Public Library on 24 October
On Saturday 24 October, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, Sha Tin Public Library's extension activities room hosts a Cantonese storytelling session organised by Hong Kong Public Libraries. It is aimed at children aged 6 to 12, and one accompanying parent is welcome. The programme includes storytelling, a spot-the-difference game and a ramen game, plus a small craft making a three-dimensional picture with hemp rope; participants should bring their own colour pens, paper, scissors, glue, white glue and hemp rope. Seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis until full. For enquiries, call 2694 3788. Arriving a little early is a sensible idea, and you could also browse the library collection while you are there.
Editor’s noteA free library activity for children aged 6 to 12; bring your own craft materials, and seats are first-come, first-served.
