Free Cantonese opera showcase in Yau Tong on 31 October
The "18dART — Community Arts Scheme in Kwun Tong" Cantonese opera training programme presents a showcase. The first session runs on 31 October 2026 (Saturday), 14:30–16:00, at the Auditorium of Yau Tong Community Hall. Rehearsal-class students will perform excerpts from a new children's Cantonese opera, "Nezha", and young members of Long Fai Cantonese Opera Troupe will present well-known opera excerpts. Chinese dance class students appear in the second session, whose date, time and venue are still to be announced. Admission is free with a ticket, no assigned seating, first come first served while places last; online registration is required. The organiser reserves the right to change programmes and performers in special circumstances.
