Bird of Paradise Opens in Hong Kong on 23 Oct: Chow Ka-yee Takes On Pole Dance

Bird of Paradise is a 95-minute Category IIA drama, with tickets on sale at Broadway. Kanslife reports a 23 October Hong Kong release, with Chow Ka-yee taking on pole dance; an HKET cast interview features Elaine Jin, Chow Ka-yee and Yeung Nga-man discussing three generations of women. HK01 reported audience members tearing up and a cast member filming through pain, and also covered a pre-release infringement dispute in which KITKAT said no authorisation was given — worth noting, though details here are limited. Sing Tao Headline and am730 note Gin Lee singing the theme song. Check Broadway for showtimes and booking terms; no price was supplied.

Editor’s noteOne to note if you follow local drama and this cast; check Broadway for showtimes and booking arrangements before going.
