Kai Tak Cruise Terminal: A Runway-End Harbour View
Kai Tak Cruise Terminal sits in Kowloon City District, at the end of the former Kai Tak Hong Kong International Airport runway, and is one of Hong Kong's key tourism infrastructure projects. It has two berths and can handle two large cruise ships of up to 220,000 gross tonnage at the same time. The three-storey terminal building houses berths, passenger clearance facilities and a commercial area; its distinctive design makes it a Victoria Harbour landmark. The roughly 23,000 sq m Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Park on its rooftop is one of Hong Kong's large public rooftop gardens and a good spot for harbour views.
