Ko Shan Theatre: A Cantonese opera stage inside a Hung Hom park

Ko Shan Theatre sits in Kowloon City District, built inside Ko Shan Road Park in Hung Hom as a "theatre in a park" and opened in 1983. Besides hosting community activities, it is a major venue for Cantonese opera. To strengthen its role as a dedicated Cantonese opera venue, a five-storey annex opened in 2014, with facilities including an auditorium of nearly 600 seats, an exhibition hall, activity rooms, rehearsal rooms and singing practice rooms, serving Cantonese opera troupes, other arts groups and community organisations.
