Lion Rock Park: A 5-Hectare Spot on Chuk Yuen Road, a Hiking Starting Point

Lion Rock Park sits on Chuk Yuen Road in Wong Tai Sin District and covers about 5 hectares. Facilities include a barbecue site, a baseball field, an archery range and a children's playground, so it suits families as well as walkers.

From the barbecue area, a hillside path climbs upward, with views of the 495-metre Lion Rock, whose shape resembles a lion. That makes the park a popular starting point for hiking to Lion Rock.

For transport, you can use the Transport Department's HKeMobility website or app and enter your starting point to search routes. Check opening information before you set off, and treat official announcements as final.
