Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower: A Century-Old Harbourfront Landmark

The former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower stands beside the Star Ferry in Tsim Sha Tsui. Completed in 1915 as part of the old Tsim Sha Tsui terminus, it is built in Edwardian classical revival style, rises 44 metres, and is topped by a 7-metre lightning rod. When the terminus moved to Hung Hom in 1975, the old building was demolished and only the tower remained; it was declared a monument in 1990.
