Central–Mid-Levels Escalator: An Outdoor Stairway Stroll Through Central

Central is usually associated with skyscrapers, but there is also a distinctive outdoor route running from Queen's Road Central up to Conduit Road. The Central to Mid-Levels Escalator and Walkway System is listed by 香港自遊樂在18區 as a Central and Western District spot.

It is more than a single escalator: it combines covered walkways, 16 one-way escalators with reversible direction, and 3 one-way travelators with reversible direction, threading through several narrow Central streets. Along the way you can take in hillside city views and everyday street life.
