Hong Kong Park in Central: Barracks Heritage and an Aviary
Hong Kong Park sits on Cotton Tree Drive in Central and covers 8.16 hectares on the former Victoria Barracks site. It keeps several military heritage buildings from 1842 to 1910: the former Commander-in-Chief's House, listed as a monument in 1989 and now the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware; Rawlinson House, now the park office and Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry; Wavell House, now an education centre; and Cassels Block, now the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre.
