Rock Hill Street Mural in Kennedy Town Recalls the Old Sai Wan

If you are wandering around Kennedy Town, keep an eye out for the mural on Rock Hill Street. It takes the history of the "Sai Wan Seven Terraces" as its theme, showing the architectural features of the old terraces and how people lived there at the time.

The Seven Terraces were developed by Li Po-lung, son of the wealthy merchant Li Sing, and include Tai Pak Terrace, Hei Wong Terrace, Ching Lin Terrace, To Li Terrace, Hok Sze Terrace, Li Po Lung Terrace and Tsz Lan Terrace. Most of the buildings have since been demolished or rebuilt, but the mural still conveys the charm of old Sai Wan.
