Step Aboard the Alexander Grantham at Quarry Bay Park

The Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery sits inside Quarry Bay Park, covering about 1,200 square metres with fire-service artefacts and multimedia on Hong Kong's maritime rescue work. The Alexander Grantham entered service in 1953 as the flagship of the Fire Services Department's fireboat fleet, tackling ship and coastal fires and sea rescues. Built in Hong Kong, it was retired in 2002, became a Hong Kong Museum of History collection item and opened to visitors in 2007. For an itinerary, you could pair it with other Eastern District spots such as the Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence. Check opening arrangements and hours before you go.
