Pokfulam Farm: A Revived Century-Old Heritage Spot in Southern District

Pokfulam Farm sits on Pok Fu Lam Road in Southern District. It was formerly the senior staff quarters of the old Dairy Farm, originally named Braemar, built in 1887 with a main block, servants' quarters and garage, and graded a Grade I historic building in 2009. Left vacant from 1987, it was revitalised under the Development Bureau's Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme and reopened to the public in 2023, taking the old name Pok Fu Lam for the project. The two-storey main block has a thick granite lower level with round ventilation windows; the single-storey servants' quarters and garage feature Chinese-style double-tile roofs. Exhibitions, guided tours and workshops are held there.
