HSBC Main Building in Central: An Architectural Landmark on Queen's Road Central

The HSBC Main Building is one of Central's best-known landmarks. According to the 18 Districts Spot Guide, it stands on Queen's Road Central, was designed by British architectural giant Norman Foster, and rises 178.8 metres across 52 floors, making it a major Hong Kong Island landmark.

A Ming Pao Weekly report quotes the architect describing it as "a statement of optimism about the future", a sign of its standing in architecture.
