Repulse Bay: A Crescent Beach and The Repulse Bay for a Southern District Half-Day

Repulse Bay sits on the southern side of Hong Kong Island and is a well-known visitor spot as well as a low-density residential area. Its beach curves like a crescent, with a wide, clean, sandy stretch that visitors have long enjoyed.

Nearby you can also drop by the Hong Kong Life Saving Society training headquarters east of the beach, known for its traditional Chinese architecture, and the Tin Hau and Kwun Yam statues at 鎮海樓公園. Behind the beach, the pulse mall has restaurants with sea views, and its glass curtain wall lets you take in the bay while shopping.

Cross Repulse Bay Road to reach The Repulse Bay, built on the site of the 1920 Repulse Bay Hotel, rebuilt as luxury homes in the 1980s; its heritage gallery holds old photos and artworks. Check opening information before you go.
