Stanley Military Cemetery: A Grade III Historic Site in Southern District

Stanley Military Cemetery sits on Wong Ma Kok Road in Southern District. The Government relocated it to this site in 1933. Graves fall into three groups: the old garrison burials of 1841–1870, internees' graves from the Japanese occupation (1941–1945), and post-war Commonwealth war graves. It was rated a Grade III historic building in 2010.

The cemetery is grassy and quiet, a resting place for those who died protecting Hong Kong, so keep your visit calm and quiet.
